New Style Dress

We are thrilled to introduce our newest addition to our collection. The Carol Dress. We love this gathered top with accented bodice to match the hem fabric that you select. Every bit of this dress is custom as you are allowed to pick out the fabrics you love the most. We are offering this dress at $45.00 and we of course give another dress to a child in need.

Everyone at PLD is working very hard to get all the dresses ready to go to Uganda in July. We are shipping over a ton due to your generous donations! I am looking forward to sharing with you all the pictures from this trip.

God is Good!

This picture was taken of Abbie on Easter Sunday by my Mother's God Child who is now a student at Florida State University. She is amazingly creative and is a joy to have around our family and the girls. I will be posting more pictures from her soon with my girls in the new design of Preppy Little Dresses that the girls received from Dot Dot at Easter. Stay tuned!

Spring Line

We are working very hard to get together our Spring Line for The Preppy Little Dress! We are going to be offering the newest prints and choices for all of our customers and are even thinking about adding boys reversible rompers! I know all of you mom's that have boys should be excited about this. Keep posted and we will bring you more pictures of what's to come!

Update!

I wanted to update everyone on the latest of what is going on with me and The Preppy Little Dress....

After three long weeks of sickness and fatigue I feel like I am finally coming out on the other side. I still have a doctors visits next week but feel hopeful that whatever is ailing me is gone and that things will go back to normal for myself and my family. It figures that I would get sick during the busiest time in The Preppy Little Dress history. Thank you to everyone who has been so patient during this time.

The Preppy Little Dress is having a great fall and we are looking forward to many up coming shows. We will be at the Merry Market Saturday October 24th and Jingle Jubilee Nov. 13-15th in Tallahassee, FL. Also, if you are looking for a rep near you please email us via our website and we will be happy to let you know where you can see PLD in your area.

If you have emailed me and I have not gotten back with you I am so sorry. I have had to take time off unexpectedly. However, I will be emailing and returning phone calls this weekend and early next week.

I am excited to announce the arrival of our new intern Rebecca! She is a student at Florida State University and a fashion design major. Rebecca is also a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority and is a real go getter! She will be handling some of the day to day operations of PLD as long as helping us design our new Spring Line. We are thrilled Rebecca is joining us!

SIP & SEE

I had the most amazing weekend and had to share with all of you the pictures! I have the great fortune to work with a wonderful photographer who is as equally professional as she is creative! Linley Paske has been shooting families all over Tallahassee and the Panhandle for the past several years and is now gearing up her business in a big way. The Preppy Little Dress is teaming up with Linley to bring you the full fall line... please stay tuned for that! However, over the past weekend I hosted a Sip & See and invited our friends, church and community for everyone to come and see what was new with The Preppy Little Dress. Here are a few of the amazing shots that Linley got of one little customer. Little Sarah Katherine brought along her, mother, grandmother and great grandmother to shop. What a cute model she makes. Thank you to everyone who supports our Clothes for a Cause! We had a record weekend! Watch out Jill... we might need two crates for the dresses to Uganda.

New Fall Dress Release

We have released a preview of one of our new fall line dresses. We love this little apple print dress and think it will be perfect for fall! Abbie is going to be wearing it to her first day of school with her name monogrammed on it so that her teachers can remember her name. Cute Customer!

I just found out this morning that one of our Preppy Little Dress customers (who is 4 years old, by the way) loved her custom PLD dress so much that she had to wear it for 3 days straight! Her mom kept doing laundry every night so she could wear it again and again. (What a great MOM!) So needless to say Kathy came in to get another one and one more for her other daughter. They are so cute and I just know they are going to love their new Preppy Little Dresses!

PLD goes to Michigan

My friend Lisa's sister just got married last weekend in Michigan (Congrats Laura and Drew) and for the occasion Lisa had a Preppy Little Dress made for her daughter Linden for the rehearsal. We love this dress so much that we are putting it in our fall line. We think it will be the perfect back to school dress as it bares apples all over it. Stay tuned for a full picture of the newest Linden dress.
